Yes. Pochete is a manual budget planner: you add the incomes, expenses, accounts, and assets that matter to you. It never connects to your bank or imports transactions, so you choose what to track and what to leave out.
Can one app work as a budget planner and net worth tracker?
Yes. Use the budget to plan income and expenses, and the net worth view to see the value of your savings, investments, cash, and other assets. You enter their values yourself, including your share of anything you own jointly. No bank or investment account connection is needed.
How can I track shared expenses in my personal budget?
Record the full cost while counting only your share toward your personal budget. For example, if you split a €1,200 rent payment equally, keep the full payment on record while only your €600 share counts toward your budget.
Can I plan a trip budget in multiple currencies?
Yes. Add each expense in the currency you will pay it in, even when a trip uses several currencies. Pochete converts amounts using European Central Bank reference rates so you can compare costs. Your bank may use a different rate when you pay.
Can I export my budget to Excel and restore a backup?
Yes. Export a readable spreadsheet or a password-protected Excel backup, then restore your complete Pochete data from a backup when needed. Archiving is separate: it puts older items aside without deleting their history.
